STEINHEIL 16 = SCHNITTY
Establishment - After a glowing recommendation, we visited Steinheil 16 in Munich. They hail themselves as serving the best schnitzel in the city, so this was a must.
Core - One of the all time best meats in a schnitzel I’ve personally ever laid tastebuds on. It was a bit thicker than other schnitzels, but the pork was heavenly juicy and tasted absolutely amazing. The schnitzel is a must just for this.
Crust - While the crust on this schnitzel was good, it was more crispy and cooked in some parts than in other parts. Other parts were a bit softer and more doughy, which was not ideal.
Toppings - Just lemon, but this complemented the lovely pork well.
Sides - Came with a good size salad with a creamy dressing (not pictured) as well as chips (option of potatoes instead available). Chips were crispy and well done.
Overall - This was an excellent schnitzel, and also amazing value - it was only €10.90 for perhaps the biggest schnitzel I’ve ever eaten (bigger by weight certainly than even Figlmüller).
