The practice of yoga has many experiences that support one another.
When we practice yoga, we gain mental strength. This mental strength then allows us to find a deeper physical strength. Then the circle continues.
Yoga helps us to become free within our bodies, allowing more flexibility. Yoga also helps work through and release trauma in the body, also allowing us to then become more flexible. Then the circle continues.
This beautiful practice also helps us in self-acceptance. When we can learn to accept ourselves, we naturally improve... our mind, our body and our spirit grow. By experiencing this natural self-improvement, we then experience more self-acceptance. Then the circle continues.
Today practice loving yourself..
Accepting just ONE thing you look at as a flaw. Try to see if you can turn that flaw into something positive.
Here’s an example:
If you bash on yourself for being spacey and feeling “everywhere,” look at how beneficial that is for creativity and quick decisions.. every “flaw” we have had a benefit that not only greatly helps us, but creates who we are. When we can learn to look past the “flaw” and see how it plays a positive role within our life, we can then look at more of our flaws like that.
It becomes the cycle of self-improvement to self-acceptance and repeats.
Remember, love ONE thing about yourself that’s hard to love today and look at the good it does within your life instead of the bad you may “think” it does for you.
Love yourself today a little extra ❤️
