We went caveing in Rapid Bay today! At the end of the beach, up past the campground there is a large cave entrance. We had to build a pile of rocks and get the odd boost to get up there.
The cave snakes back quite a way in total darkness. We had our headtorches in tow to help shine the way, plus the obligatory phone flashlight. 🤳
We hung out with bats and the boys really enjoyed the experience of exploring a cave on our own without a group of 10 or 20 people on a formal tour. We had a great time checking out the various sinkholes and caves earlier this lap of Australia, but nothing beats being your own explorer! 🧗♂️ There are more to see and explore along the coastline so we plan to check them out over the coming days.
