Four days on the road exploring new places and running into old friends. The first two pictures are the campsites we lucked into, pretty good views for car camping.

I’ll be spending a lot of time in Salt Lake City with my new Sonos job, I’ll need some food/drink/outdoor suggestions. My favorite thing so far is this strange island full of Bison.

I bet this sheep was wondering, “Why is this guy crying?” I had never heard of Dinosaur until watching Ken Burns’ National Parks documentary. It’s a testament to what people can accomplish when they organize and fight, as this river canyon was set to be dammed and flooded in the 1950s. It’s pretty remote, I’ve ever seen a photo of this place on Instagram and I didn’t see another person on the trail the entire day. It’s natural to want to keep these places a secret, but I think it’s just as important to share them with others willing to make the effort to visit. You never know when you’ll need an army of advocates to protect these special places from greed.
