YOU CANT GROW IF YOU DONT TRY . So I briefly talked about how yesterday I went to a wedding and I decided to come off keto and not track. I totally understand how this can bring up mixed opinions but I wanted to bring up a way of thinking that I believe me and @transformationaltruth share and that is that special events are an amazing opportunity to practice balance. . To me worrying about what I can eat or track at a special event that happens once in a lifetime is no fun and to be honest I think its unnecessary. Rather I think this is a great opportunity to practice being on point even when you're going to most likely be overeating. If you fall into a trap of fearing food and events then there is no opportunity for growth. But if you set boundaries that allow yourself to enjoy events and life then that is a win win. . Last night I promised myself I would only eat until I was full. But I enjoyed all the of the food that was there. Back when I would restrict, at most weddings I would eat myself sick. I would eat until my body physically hurt. I am so glad that that is something that doesn't control me anymore. . Last little honesty point I want to make is that afterwards I went to McDonalds because I felt like I "wanted it". I was in my old mind of thinking "I have this day of eating so let's get in some cravings". For once in my life, I had a few bites and went "this isnt even good or worth it" and I threw the rest away and went to bed. . Use every opportunity to better your mindset and self control. It's not all about restricting or sacrificing. Sometimes its about finding a comfortable spot in both that you can learn from. . Get to work 💪💯

Let’s talk about bodyweight since I got a lot of questions after yesterday’s post. How much do you think I weigh in this picture? 160? 170? - That morning I weighed in at exactly 147lbs! Sounds small right? But I look big right?(hopefully 😂) This just shows that bodyweight is completely arbitrary and should only be used as a tool. - The scale lies! Well not really, it only reports data. It cannot lie, if you weigh more, or less on a given day it’s a fact. However, what it cannot tell you is if you’ve lost or gained fat/muscle. - Your weight can fluctuate daily due to things like salt intake, sleep, shift in water weight, stress, dehydration, training, nutrition, cardio and many more. - TRUST THE PROCESS, NOT THE SCALE! Albeit don’t do it blindly, but as long as you have all your factors in check. Back Gains 🚨 just a good solid workout lifting some heavier weight. Back is always a strong suit to me when it comes to targeting and the mind to muscle connection. - Had the opportunity to check out @midtownchicago yesterday, it’s funny because with all of the amenities they have from the tennis courts, swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar, restaurant, and so on... I still just was there to get my lift in. Nothing fancy in the machine department, in fact it was pretty general but the facility itself is pretty cool. - Working Sets: 1. BB Rows 8 x 10 2. Wenn du kräftiger wirst, wirst du auch mehr Muskelmasse gewinnen! Und das wollen wir doch alle 😁 ...die Damen einen größeren Po, die Jungs breitere Arme, usw. 😀👌 . 💪 Mit diesen 3 Tipps kannst Du deine Kraft steigern. Welche Möglichkeit Du wählst liegt bei Dir. Ich selbst erhöhe immer Sätze und Gewicht. . 1️⃣ Eigne dir die PERFEKTE Technik an! Um die meiste Kraft aufzubringen, ist eine perfekte Technik notwendig. Das ist auch der Grund, warum eine bessere Technik/Ausführung eine Kraft- bzw. Leistungssteigerung bedeutet. . 2️⃣ Auch 1-2 Wiederholungen mehr oder ein ganzer Satz mehr mit dem gleichen Gewicht bedeutet eine Kraftsteigerung und. Vor allem bei einer hohen Intensität ist die Erhöhung der Sätze meines Erachtens die bessere Wahl. . 3️⃣ Bewege mehr Gewicht und führe die gleiche Anzahl der Wiederholungen und Sätze durch. Idealerweise hat dein Studio 1,25kg Gewichtsscheiben oder Du besorgst dir selber 1kg Scheiben. So kannst Du nahezu in jedem Training dein Gewicht steigern.
