This photo of mine was taken a couple of years ago at Auckland Zoo, it's funny how when we grow up, things we used to love as a kid are now seen in a new light, I can no longer enjoy places like this. I would hate to see a world where the only places we can see wildlife are in captivity; in small Zoos and in cages. I hope there is never a day that pollution and plastic take over the land or the seas. The time for change is now.
A lot of us have had that moment of realization, perhaps when travelling or on your own doorstep, where it hits you that this world has a problem with plastic pollution. Mine was when I went snorkeling in Bali, it was sunny, it was beautiful, the water was incredible, yet as I swam around amongst the marine life there was plastic everywhere, I swam up to get air and was almost engulfed by a sheet of plastic floating across the surface, some fish aren't so lucky. @ have just released an incredible video with a message for @ and I want to support their cause in anyway I can, the full video is on their Facebook page. Watch, share, learn, act. Making a change is not easy, but it's not impossible either. I'm determined to contribute however I can to causes such as this.
