Casa Invisible is a concept by Austrian firm, Delugan Meissl Associated Architects (DMAA), which utilizes the idea of mobile housing to create a cost efficient, environmentally conscience design. The nature of the design’s mobility leaves a minimal environmental footprint, reducing structural planning restrictions and addressing the critical housing situation.
Casa Invisible’s name comes from the use of a mirrored exterior cladding material that allows the home to blend in seamlessly to any environment. The mirrored aluminum was chosen for its lightweight and durability, as all the materials must be prefabricated and mobile.
