“The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet”. -Frederick Buechner || Real talk: I’ve loved photography as long as I can remember. The reason I chose taking photos of people, specifically, instead of landscape or for a business, is because I get to show off every individual’s beauty. I feel like so many of us struggle with our appearance and it makes me so sad, because when you get to know a person, whether it be a brief hello or a conversation filled with depth, regardless of how long you’ve known them, you start seeing the beauty in them. You see their freckles, their cheesy grin, their eye wrinkles when they smile. Now, I know I still have lengths to go with photography, I still don’t really call myself a professional, but I just want to take pictures for people so they can see the beauty that I see. I don’t want this to come off as cheesy, and I’m sorry for the lengthiness, but it’s been really on my heart to say WHY I do what I do. Taking beautiful photos brings me a deep gladness that I hope I can share to the world.
