Last month, I bought a type of air dry clay (I guess, but the seller stated as Thai clay) to try it out.
First of all, I'm kinda like how the no bake clay works. Which I don't have to worry about clay is cured or not. Second, it doesn't stick so much of dust than polymer clay do. It is easy to shape things. But the cons, it dry out fast and when it dry, it's slightly turn to transparent and not the white I want.
I'm using nyanko-sensei as a test subject as I can try painting gauche and apply UV resin on it. As a result, both works well and you can wipe the paint off if mistake made. On the picture you can see the difference between polymer clay and Thai clay. The pc remain clear white while tc is slightly greyish. I like both but I think if I want a White color on the tc, I guess I have to paint a layer of white on it. .
