Just because you’ve traveled one path in life doesn’t mean that there aren’t others to travel. Don’t ever be afraid to step off the path that you are on. Because when you do, sometimes you find great beauty and peace in unexpected places. Never stop roaming, never stop exploring. See all and do all.
When you work in a culture where receiving a "thank you" for doing a job well done takes an effort equivalent to creating life on Earth. It is seemingly impossible to expect anyone to take pride in what they do. Which ultimately will lead the persons working in said environment, that takes pride in their actions, to come home every day and clean the shit off themselves. Cause that kind of environment can only be sustained by the shitty talent pool in the ocean. ✌🏽
Along my journey to Central America, I ran into a pack of strays who kept their distance. Only after a few days they began to trust me and they the rest of the crew. And soon after we gained their trust they became our guard dogs and kept us safe from any threat. Especially poachers. The first picture is our pup "Captain Sandy." Born in the sand, raised in the sand, slept in the sand. His name explains it all. The second picture is my most loyal and best friend "Scruffy." Scruffy followed me around everywhere. Never left my side, even on those late night patrols on the beach. The third picture is "Hermano." But everyone knew him as "Batman." He was Scruffys best friend. They protected each other on patrols. And the fourth picture is "Albóndigas." I didn't give him the name, but it suites him well. His bark was bigger than his bite though. Good thing he had Scruffy and Batman around to look after him. Even on empty stomachs, these dogs still patrolled with us up and down the coasts of Nicaragua protecting us throughout the night. I wish I could've brought them back with me. I am so grateful for these pups.

These past few months have been a bit of a change in pace for me.
To be completely honest they have been *rough*
Stress and anxiety basically filled the cracks between my average 52 work weeks.
It's been extremely difficult to see the bright side of things when all I can do is dread and feel the constant pressure of not having enough time or being rushed from one moment to the next.
I lost a LOT of passion for things I once loved because of it.
BUT I recently had an extremely brief conversation with a close friend that alleviated me from a TON of anxiety I had.
It is amazing where you can find peace. From the casual conversation I had with my friend, among hundreds of people in a crowded gym watching a volleyball game, I found a missing piece to my machine of life.
It will definitely take work and a strong mind to keep going the way I want, but the intense anxiety that once crushed me is somehow dissipating.
I am forever grateful.
Would you swim here? The blue Lagoon, Garut 🤣🤣✌

Similar to humans, these giant concrete structures are each unique, each with its own character, some damaged and others untouched - still beautiful however, always beautiful.✨ .
