I made my way out to the Quinault rain-forest on a cold winter day. It seemed like I had the whole place to myself. The whole forest was so still, so peaceful, and I was free to immerse myself in this lush green ecosystem. It wasn't my first time visiting this rain-forest; though, photographing this place has always been a challenge. There's so much going on in every direction, so much life, so many small details—while I like simpler photos. I hope this little chaotic scene can show off a tiny part of this wonderful rain-forest.
Mount Asgard is a twin peaked mountain with two flat-topped, cylindrical, rock towers, separated by a saddle. It is located in Auyuittuq National Park, on the Cumberland Peninsula of Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. The peak is named after Asgard, the realm of the gods in Norse mythology. Mount Asgard is perhaps the most famous of the Baffin Mountains. Wikipedia
The Ice Floe Edge If you’re looking for wildlife around Baffin Island, the ice floe edge is the place to go. The floe edge is the place where the fast ice, the ice that is attached to the coast, ends and the open water or moving ice begins.
One from the early morning views on the island of nusa penida. A photographers paradise. Wish we had more time to explore this place, but trekking down the kelingking Beach, being on the bike for close to 4 hours to reach these difficult spots took a toll on our health. And what worse than being down and out on your travels.
Coming to a realisation that you cannot take all the shots in the world at that place, being content with what you get will take us a long way.
