That's right... This pizza was $25. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't feel like I got what I paid for.
Being severely lactose intolerant makes it pretty difficult to order a pizza, so I was really excited when I found out @ had goat cheese, and I was willing to pay a little extra to have it as a premium topping, until this showed up at my door. It would be one thing if this was the first time, but it wasn't.
A little while back I was disappointed with the amount of goat cheese on my pizza, so I spoke to the manager. She informed me that goat cheese was expensive and they couldn't just add extra, but if I put another topping on my order and ask that it be replaced for more goat cheese, it would be no problem, so that's what I did, and they delivered on that a couple times.
Tonight my pizza was delivered with regular cheese, I was frustrated but understood mistakes happen. Then the driver was out, so I had to go pick up the remake (frustration is increasing). When I got there, this is what I was handed.
I explained to the guy behind the counter that that did not look like 2 servings of goat cheese, so he told me goat cheese was expensive and they don't do that. Only problem is I PAID for extra goat cheese. I don't order pizza often because, surprise, goat cheese is expensive!
So now my order has shown up wrong, I have to go out and pick up a new one, and then I have someone argue with me over the toppings on my $25 pizza, after I am told by management, that is how the pizza should be ordered.
At that price, they should be feeding it to me!
Needless to say, I don't feel like Austin's pizza is running a very honest business. Customer service and quality product is getting more and more important for a company to survive, these guys are missing the boat.
