20 years back in South Africa a small neighborhood restaurant blended the rich spices and flavors of the continent and started serving fresh healthy flamed grilled chicken to their customers.
And thus the story began.
After spreading it's wings in the south continent, it was time to fly further.
Tablez Food Company, the food and beverage wing of the famous Lulu International group brought this hidden gem to Middle East, India and Sri Lanka.
The flamed chicken which are merinated for 24 hrs with their in-house spices and herbs are served with four different sauces ( extra hot, mild, garlic, lemon and herb) to suit individual taste buds.
We had a wonderful spread of their best food and few are worth the mention.
Non veg Espadata - flamed grilled chicken and shrimp along with vegetables was a delight not just for the taste buds but to the eyes too. The highly innovative plating on an upside down hanger defying gravity truly brings out a wow factor at the table.
Country Style Salad- fresh as can be it is a wonderful palate cleanser or an alternative for the weightwatchers. The pieces of olives and the feta balances well with the crunchy iceberg lettuce. Just enough dressing to retain the texture of the ingredients.
Supremo Chicken Burger- grilled double chicken breast pieces with a grilled pineapple inbetween is such an amazing twist to a regular burger. It just elevated it to the next level.
Malwa Pudding with Vanilla Ice cream- the best dessert of all the three we tried.
The pudding was soft dense and was just perfectly marrying with the ice- cream.
The experience was like a Disneyland for the meat lovers.
