Tree pose is actually one of my favourite poses, because every day your balance is changing and it's never the same.
And of course physically tree pose is strengthening our balance, but have you ever thought about all the goodies we get mentally from practicing tree pose??? Practicing PATIENCE with ourselves, practicing being KIND to ourselves, balancing us out internally as well as externally.
When I teach tree pose to my students, I love using real trees as an example for it, just like trees we may sway in the wind a little bit, just like trees we might fall. It's not about how long we hold the pose for, or where our foot is standing, it's about all the goodies you learn along the way 🌳🌳🌳 ----- 📷 @_for_the_wild
