Where my mind is after tonights workout. 😝 not gonna lie, i much prefer to workout first thing in the morning before my body realizes whats happening! Lol. I was running a little behind this morning though and i had a few errends to run so i didnt get my workout in, in the morning. I almost just skipped it all together, but i perservered! I didnt do as well as i would have liked to [only one round of week 2 bbg day 1; legs] But better a little then nothing at all! And, you cant tell in this picture but, i DID have sweat dripping down my face. Im actually surprised my eyebrows stayed on! Lol. Im doing ok with my diet. And im still trying to get into a regular routine with the baby. But i feel like eveything is slowly falling into place. Celebrate Taco Tuesday with these vegan spiced tempeh tacos 🌮 Ingredients: 1 block of tempeh cut into strips 1tbs spoked paprika ½ tsp chilly powder (or flaked chilly) 1tbs crushed garlic dry-fried 1 tbs olive oil 1tbs tamari 4 tortillas 1 continental cucumber sliced ½ red onion sliced 1 bunch Coriander 1 lime cut into wedges 1 avocado cut into thin slices Method: 1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a zip lock bag. Shake it around until the tempeh is evenly coated and set aside in the refrigerator for 1 hour. 2. In a bowl, combine the cucumber, onion and coriander with half the limes squeezed in. 3. Grill the tempeh on medium heat – you may have to spray a little oil onto the grill as tempeh has a tendency to stick. 4. To serve, place a handful of the salad, a few slices of tempeh, some avocado and a squirt of lemon! This recipe is a fresh and healthy meal, especially for the heat wave coming up on the weekend 😋 @juliatrran

Along my weight loss journey I’ve been learning what my strengths and weaknesses are. My strength is how much I enjoy working out. I really like being active and it’s rare that I do not get some sort of physical activity in each day. My weakness- food. Hello from my uni bathroom 😂👋🏻 today has been a long day so I’m looking a little rough hahaha I had work at 6:45 then class at 1 and I learned about how our bodies convert carbs, fats, proteins into energy so we can get our best workout in which was pretty interesting 😊 there’s a lot of biology type information I’m learning which is difficult for me since I’ve been doing a more creativity/art-based major for 3 years (film and media) and now I’m doing an exercise science course and I haven’t done science since high school 😅 but I’m loving learning how my body works and how it relates to my workouts! It definitely helps me to read over the chapter the day before the lecture so I understand better. Maybe I’ll post facts I learn on here every once in a while 😂 Now I’m off to do legs with my friend! This nutrition plan I’m on had me SO freaking nervous a couple of weeks ago because a) I’m a carb-aholic, I love them and this plan has me eating all of my starchy carbs before 12p most days and b) I’m a carb-aholic.😂But I put my faith in eating by the plan and it’s be SO much easier than I ever would have imagined🙌🏼I’m trying out SO many recipes that I never have before (stay tuned for ‘pizza casserole’ this weekend 🍕)and that I probably never would have because I was OBSESSED with carbs and wanting them at every meal. In NO way is this meal plan keto (or anything close😂) but timing what types of foods I have and when I have them throughout the day has given me so much energy⚡️and has given me some fun of trying new recipes and has me much less obsessed with starchy carbs than I have been in a while... I shared the highest amounts of macros of each ingredient! As you can see eggs are the highest in protein and avocado is higher in fat. My fit running partner today! Today was a good day...first run since early November and since surgery in December. Easy 2 Miles around 9:20 pace. My life felt pretty close to perfect last week. I wanted to bring that sense of peaceful bliss home with me so desperately. In some ways I have. I’ve also brought home an intense desire to work harder, help more and grow exponentially. But I still struggle. Today I struggled with anxiety to the point where I thought I was going to have a mild panic attack. I learned so much about myself last week that helped me stay calm. It still feels kind of weird to talk about anxiety but I know so many of us live with some form of it. Know you’re not alone. You’re never alone. I’m a really good listener if you ever want to chat. 💗

Hello friends!!👋🏼 Yesterday was a rest day and not so healthy nutrition day🙈 the little and his dad are bad influences on weekends... haha💙Today was a ❄️ day for me from work, and the hubby even got to sleep in and not leave for work till this afternoon!☺️ (can’t wait until he gets to be home in the evenings again)... Once he left I completed the Mindful meditation, daily moves and the Tabata, booty bell routine!📿💪🏽💦 The rest of the afternoon consisted of baking some beat 🍫muffins, cleaning and then a Chest and Triceps workout with the #pwr app!👊🏼 Belly full and now putting the feet up before shower and bed. .
