I want to compare fat loss to money💰💳
Let's say you make $65,000 per year and you want to start putting money away in a savings account.
However, every single payday you go on a shopping spree, every night for dinner you eat at a fancy restaurant, you buy the latest technology and you buy a brand new car every 3 years.
Now, I am not saying there is anything wrong with any of that, but if you want to start putting money away in a savings account, you are going to have to change your lifestyle a little bit.
Maybe you go on a shopping spree every other paycheck instead of every paycheck, maybe you eat at a fancy restaurant 4 nights a week instead of 7 and maybe you buy a new car every 5 years instead of 3. You still enjoy the same things, but you changed your lifestyle so you could change your financial situation and start saving money.
If you want to lose fat and keep it off forever, you have to change your lifestyle.
If you go on a fad diet, lose 10 pounds and then go back to your old lifestyle - guess what? - you will gain the weight right back because your old ways are what made you gain weight in the first place.
Start by making small changes. I'm not saying you can't ever have chocolate or ice cream ever again. I'm not saying you can't go out with your friends for a couple drinks. You have to be able to enjoy your life, but if you truly want to lose weight and keep it off, you will have to change parts of your lifestyle.
That's why yo-yo dieting is a thing. Don't go on a diet that you don't want to be on for the rest of your life. For example - drinking meal replacement shakes... do you really want to drink a meal replacement shake for the rest of your life? No. Everyone would prefer real food over a shake.
You already have a diet. It just might need a little bit of tweaking to get it to work for you and not against you. If you change your habits, you will change your life😊💪
