⬆️The highs and lows of business ownership!⬆️ .
Let me tell you that the highs far outweigh the lows, but bi-jingos the lows can sting. Thankfully not for long 😉
Trip Advisor Tuesday!
You’ll often hear me reference guest feedback as currency in this industry & it absolutely is. It’s gold! The good, the bad & the just plain ugly. It’s all helpful to us as business owners. It’s an opportunity to review & reflect on our guest experience.
Sure, hands up, sometimes we can get it wrong. Not on purpose but things & life can just get in the way. But went things go right & allllll the magic happens, well that’s a feel good moment for all.
I want to touch on expectations... they’re a necessary evil in many ways.
In the past 2 days we’ve had 2 Trip Advisor reviews from different guests at the same function we hosted. They are polar opposites in their review. It’s not to say that one is right & one is wrong. They both have expressed their opinions & experiences. I’ve responded to both, so feel free to check them out.
My main message today is that expectations are our own. Your expectations are just that yours. They’re usually different to the next person & the next and so on...
My advice when you make a purchase or reservation... go direct!
No big surprise there. “She’s always banging on about booking direct” am I right 😉🤣
Yep! I am!!
Expectations! That’s why!!!
When you place an online order, clothing, flight, room in a hotel ... go direct!!! Get the info from the expert!
Yes! I’m an expert on my motel!!! My team & I are best equipped to match your accommodation needs to our rooms and availability!! We’re also most likely to provide you with the best deal!! And in turn the most memorable experience for hopefully allll the right reasons!!! 😉
So I’ll leave you with this... we love it when you leave us a review but what we love even more is when you tell us! So please do let us know AT THE TIME if there is something we can do to make your stay more comfortable or enjoyable! We’re problem solvers & we WANT your stay to be memorable for ALLLLL the right reasons.
Thanks, Kristyn & Co.
P.S. please keep the reviews coming! We like to share them with the team!
