Hecale Butterfly #2
Whenever I go to a butterfly conservatory, I will probably shoot around 700-1000 images. Most of these are of the same butterfly at various focus points. I live ~120 miles away from the nearest conservatory, so I have to make my trips count 😊
After all those shots, i will forget about some of them. It is a bit of a surprise when i review them. This is what happened with this shot. I got a big laugh as i looked at this butterfly acting as it is the king of the hill. 😂
This was shot on an incredibly cloudy day and had forgotten my flash at home. Thank god for ISO!! Camera: EOS R

Other Lens Equipment: Stacked Canon Extension Tubes (EF25II & EF12II) + Mount Adapter EF-EOS R.
