But with a flip of your hand, they can turn your dollar store water gun sized biceps into Super Soaker bazookas. ⠀ By supinated your hand, turning your palm to the sky, you put your bicep in a more advantageous position. If you pay attention to how my bicep flexes as I row, it looks similar to the standard bicep curl. Thus, you elicit more of your bicep muscle vs a standard prone or neutral grip row. And the more of your bicep that you work, the more #gainz you’ll make. ⠀ Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps per side; resting for 45-60 seconds after each set. BUILD YOUR ARMS by _ The keys to building bigger arms are not much different than most other muscle groups. _ 1. Train your arms 2-3x per week and aim to perform 10-20 sets weekly (for biceps and triceps). _ 2. Heavy compound lifts should be the meat of your workouts. Start off with heavy chin ups or close grip bench press and then move on to the smaller isolation lifts for more volume. _ 3. Progressive Overload: When it comes to building muscle—biceps or otherwise—there is one thing for certain: it’s not going to happen unless you get progressively stronger. I don’t care how dialed in your nutrition is or how consistently you’re hitting the weight room, if you’re not stimulating growth through new stress, you’re not going to build muscle tissue. _ 4. Use the muscles. Avoid swinging and jerking and focus on controlled pushing and pulling. _ 5.
