On the left➡️ was a very tired (probably hungry) Sharelle😴 at the end of my first season competing. .
On the right➡️ was 12 months #postcomp deep into my off-season🍔💪I felt the most ‘womanly’ I had in a long time and my priority was strength/hypertrophy #gains in the gym!
Currently my bf% (probably somewhere in between these two photos) is lower than I am comfortable with😬 I’m slightly hungry most of the time, my bike seat hurts, bras don’t fit, I miss my arse, strength drops off and my back has more lines then an Excel spreadsheet. .
Instagram can often be misleading to say the least…😕 It can give the illusion that you are leaner or more muscular then what you really are!! Most people are surprised to see how #petite I am in person.
Optimal body fat levels has far more benefits then just acting as a cushion for my bike seat. .
