Body love • my definition • to unapologetically love your body no matter what stage, appreciate every part of your body even though you probably have grown to hate it, fueling your body with proper nutrients, letting your body rest when needed, and listening to your body ALWAYS. .
Growing up I was always made fun of, called fat, bullied for my body, so I just got used to it and shamed my body myself. Over time I looked for validation in my body from other people to make me feel better.. that didn’t last very long. .
I’m sure everyone has a different meaning of “body love.” mine used to be “I will love my body when I look like this or that or when I am this many pounds…” sound familiar? .
I am making an effort every SINGLE day to love my body at every stage. BUT this doesn’t mean eat like shit, drink alcohol, party and love your body… NO. this means I am working hard on myself every day to get to a place where I am absolutely in LOVE with the girl standing in the mirror. I am giving my body the love it deserves so it can love me right back. It is hard, it is uncomfortable, but I know it takes work and commitment- I have to keep reminding myself it will be worth it. #Bodylovebootcamp #joinme #bodyunderconstruction
