COFFEE OF THE DAY #92: Buffalo Soldier from @! It may or may not have been random that I chose a Bob Marley blended coffee on the same day marijuana legalization passed in Canada. Let’s be clear, I have never smoked the devils lettuce, and it’s basically my personal national nightmare that the city is going to smell like skunk smoke for the rest of my life - but I DO like coffee, and a little Jamaican flair is good with me. First off, KUDOS for not calling it Jamaican Me Crazy, a standing ovation to all of you. But ... Buffalo Soldier? What the hell does THAT mean?!? I know it’s a Marley song, but I’m trying to pertain it to coffee. It can’t be related to Buffalo New York, because it would taste like angry depression, so it must be related to the 10th cavalry soldiers from 1866; all-black peace soldiers in the US Army. So, in their honor, I drank their coffee ALL BLACK. Then I walked outside, took a deep breath of fresh air, and I’m pretty sure I’m high. Thanks for keeping your use moderate, Canada.
