• Movement of The Day • • • — Weighted Lunges — - This is a good quad building exercise. Although I hate doing lunges, I know I need to do them because they are such a great leg exercise. Focus on keeping your heel planted on the ground and not letting your shoulder/chest fall forward. Your shoulders should follow your back knee in a straight line. By thinking of this, you will mentally realize that you have to stay as upright as possible. I like to either hold dumbbells or kettlebells but you can also use barbells, straight bars, and EZ bars as well. - • •

Challenge yourself today with this insanely killer burnout circuit. It’s going to hurt and you’re probably going to be cussing me out the entire time, but focus on the aftermath of glory for pushing yourself past your limits and conquering something that you thought was once impossible! 👉 10-1 Pyramid style exercise involving 3 dynamic moves. Do each move for 10 reps each and then immediately repeat but this time do 9 reps of each. Continue this sequence until you reach 1 rep of each move. Take a 90 second break and then repeat the sequence but start at 1 rep and go all the way up to 10 reps of each move. #transformationtuesday Less than a week out from @musclecontest Pacific USA on the left vs now; three weeks post August shows. What is the difference between On season and Off season? The MAIN difference in my opinion is that you need to allow your body time to recover. I’m posting this because a lot of girls get the miss information that they need to “bulk” to gain muscle. You don’t. All you need to do is back down on the stress you put on your body. Whether that’s through your diet, workout or both. My off-season plans look very similar to my on-season. I allow myself less cardio (though I still do it and don’t drop it completely like a lot of girls do). I allow myself more flexibility in my diet and don’t have to stay 💯 strict. I subscribe to the 80/20 rule. I do everything to the letter 80% of the time. But if I want to go out and have fun and go off plan; I also allow myself to do that... and KNOW when I need to back it down and tighten back up. This Vegas trip is my relaxation for my birthday and I give zero fux about the caloric goodness I have consumed. You know why? Because this is my 20% and I know when I go home I’m calling up coach @kimbooddo and making my 80% count for my next off season round w him. 〰️〰️〰️ How many of you know who Dexter Jackson is? @mrolympia08 He’s one of the top bodybuilders in the world at age 49 and has won more bodybuilding titles than ANYONE else. His off-season to on-season weigh has been quoted as only ranging in 15lbs. Did you hear what I just said ladies? This massive and hugely successful BODYBUILDER only gains 15lbs in off season. Think about that for just a second. Bikini girls; you do NOT need to BULK! Consistency is KEY! When you dial in for a show if you’ve been consistent; it will take far less of a toll on your body, you’ll retain your growth and you’ll have a much longer and progressively better career in this sport. 🌟 Pull Ups vs Lat Pull Downs @bodysculptorben . ☝🏼If you are a regular gym goer then you have probably noticed that the lat pull-down machine is used a heck of a lot more than a traditional pull up. At first glance, the movements look pretty much the same BUT is one superior over the other? And what are the advantages of each? . 🙀First of all pull-downs are definitely more approachable and appealing to beginner/ intermediate gym goers. They require less skill and less strength than a pull up and are therefore less intimidating. . 👇🏼 Pull-downs therefore are an excellent alternative for those who are not strong enough to perform a pull up, and can be used to develop the strength to eventually be able to master one. . ✊🏼 Pull-downs offer more control as you can use a weight that you can manage with good form. This allows you to get a really good stretch and squeeze on the lats. It also allows you to perform high repetition sets and drop sets with ease. . 😑 However the drawbacks are that a lot of people struggle with the form of a pull down and therefore end up stalling with their progress. Support muscles are also not activated that much. The lat machine is also a highly used piece of equipment, so getting on it at peak times might be harder than lifting Thor’s hammer. . 👆🏼Pull ups offer many advantages over pull downs. They require more overall body control as it is a more skilled movement. There is also far more activation of support muscles along with the core. . 🦇 Pull-ups not only display great strength, making you feel like Batman. They also will greatly help develop strength providing enormous stress to the lats, resulting in growth! . ⏰ However pull ups are bloody hard to do! Few have the strength to do them for repetitions which puts many people off. Developing the pull up takes time and requires a well structured programme to help you get there. . 🤓 Advice would be that if you can, then do both. Pull ups when you are fresh, at the start of the session. If you cannot do one then try doing them assisted using bands or if you are lucky, using an assisted pull up machine. Vary grips to target different areas of the back and watch your wings grow!

🔥Develop a stable core before you worry about a visible one 🔥 - - - Everybody is hot onto the idea of “six packs” and “shredded obliques”. Now, I am also on that train, and love my sixer 😏, but what is most important for the abs is developing stability. If you can not control your core or your core cannot handle the load placed upon it during your deadlifts, squats, bench presses, etc; then this weakness will surely peak its head in the forms of hip and/or lower back pain. - So develop core stability by fighting against the bands resistance and keeping it straight in front of you! To make this harder, we did it on a decline bench. You’re welcome. Když jsem dokázal změnit za 12tydnu tohle, nenapadá mě jediná věc, kterou bych už změnit k lepšímu nedokázal... Kulturistika Tě prověří po všech stránkách, jak fyzicky, tak psychicky.. Nemluvě o tom ze ti dá disciplínu a naučí Tě se vypořádat se stresovými situacemi... Nastal poslední šk. rok, a do toho nespočet klientů, závodníků, o5 práce za barem, a snažím se i přes rok držet stejný DRIVE jako předtím, pokazil jsem pár věcí v osobním životě, ale jak říkám, vydržel jsem PEKLO V PŘÍPRAVĚ, vyšel z něj pro sebe jako VÍTĚZ a odejdu jako vítěz i z aktuální krize... Podcenit mě?????? To je jako bys do mě nalil ještě více silného paliva..!
