💪🏼 I’ve gained about 2 pounds of lean mass in the past month. As a natural lifter, 2-3 lbs. per month is actually an ideal amount of growth one can expect when bulking and minimizing fat gain. Of course this is because I am what one would consider an intermediate lifter, meaning that I’ve been lifting PROPERLY for about two years at this point and all of my newbie gains have been gained. 😎 • • • 💪🏼 I plan to carry out this lean bulk until early spring 2019 with a few mini cuts thrown in there for good measure.👌🏼 Hope everyone is smashing their Monday goals and has an absolutely great week! "If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse." . Was laying in bed last night after seeing a old friend on his birthday and came across this quote. Not sure who wrote it, but damn does it resonate with me. I think this quote can be applied into so many different aspects of life. For instance it's literally the way I live my life from how I go about being a single dad to being a men's physique competitor. I hate making excuses and in the rare instance that I catch myself using one for one of my shortcomings I stop and think to myself, "Was it really that important to me if I allowed myself to come up short?". And for the most part it isn't, but in the rare instance that it was that important it lights a fire inside of me that takes me even further down my path of life without allowing excuses to derail me from addressing what's truly important. . Next time you find yourself making a excuse I challenge you to use this quote and really think upon the importance of the situation that you just made a excuse for. Some light reading. .
