I never tried a "combo" on my hands before. I intended to do much more, like a one arm air baby, a handstand push up and a eccentric stalder... But that's freaking hard 😝 The main issue for me was my endurance, after the first 3 moves I didn't have enough gaz to add more stuff up. This makes total sense : I do not train my endurance, and that's a choice I make. I would rather focus on technique than endurance while working on my one arm handstand (this principle can apply yo any skill actually). I had a talk about that with @chaseonthemove lately. He made me think about it and I came to a reversible conclusion that I would get my #oahs fatser if I focus on technical sets, with enough rest in between to be physically and mentally fresh. Once the technique gets satisfying, the endurance can come into play. That's the way I see it at the moment. ▪️Esta claro que no caerás, si no te pones a andar. . . Normalmente, cuando algo me sale mal siempre pienso que no es malo, que algo positivo saco de ese “ negativo “. . En mi vida, suceden algunas cosas, que hace que me entristezca, es normal, pero luego sucede algo, ( porque la vida sigue ) que hace que las cosas cambien, entonces es cuando me doy cuenta, donde estoy y me doy cuenta que si lo “ malo” no hubiera sucedido, lo bueno no habría ocurrido. . . Ejemplo: Si voy por la calle andado dirección a la ”tienda de chuches “ y al llegar allí la encuentro cerrada, eso hace que me ponga triste ( porque las cosas no sucedieron como pensé o desearía, es normal ). Pero sigo andado, sigo por la acera perdido, sin saber qué hacer o dónde ir, y a 200 metros encuentro una “ hamburgueria” que resulta que me gusta más todavía. :) estoy feliz, como mi hamburguesa y pienso: “ quizás no hubiera encontrado ese hamburgueseria si la tienda de chuches no estuviera cerrada “ . Lo malo, quizás no sea tan malo, porque hace que el bueno sea bueno, sin lo malo, no hay bueno. 👉🏽Wall Crawls- 5x8-10👈🏽 All-time favorite for dynamic handstand conditioning. A few weeks ago, I noticed a lack of longevity within my flow and handstands. So I turned to a modified hand walk. By taking the legs out of the equation, more focus was geared towards the trunk and shoulder complex; sooooo much fun 😐 . . . SET UP: Deep squat w/ palms planted; approximately 2ft away from the wall. In one motion, leap towards the wall. Drawing in your core; it should feel weightless. Once legs are extended, hand walk towards the wall; nose touching the wall. Retrace your steps. There are many workout splits when it comes to fitness (full body, push/pull, push/pull/leg) but when it comes to bodyweight training there are some more options.... - - I do a bent/straight arm/leg and handstand split. This allows me to get enough volume at enough intensity to work front lever/planche/handstand skills 6x per week and allows for faster progression.... - - Which ever split you choose to do you can modify and center around which skills you want to develop and progress in with the right type of programming. Finally graduating to a lighter band with full control! I’m hoping to be back to trying full sets of unassisted pull-ups soon! 🤞🏻 Last year I started using the green band and now I’m moving down to the lighter blue band. While I do not judge those that do, and respect their right to make that decision...I want people to know that you can build muscle, strength, and definition naturally as well. *Takeaway: You don’t need drugs to be fit! ### 2) You can build and maintain strength, muscle, and definition even as you get older. I am certainly not as young as I used to be. *Takeaway: Even as you age you can progress towards your fitness goals! ### 3) I do mostly kettlebells for my workouts with some powerlifting and body weight movements. Kettlebells stimulate your metabolism, build muscle, strength, endurance, and cardio. *Takeaway: Do the exercises that you enjoy to build and maintain your health and fitness...and...kettlebells are awesome😋! ### 4) I sometimes struggle with not looking like I did in my 20’s. This Post is to remind myself the REAL reason I'm here... I fell in love with training about a year and half ago and I started sharing my workouts to show that working out Can /Should be ENJOYABLE. There's something about training hard that I just couldn't keep it only to myself ❤. After a year and a half I can say with certitude that this new passion will last for long... Der Handstand Press/Schweizer Handstand, ist eines meiner Leistungsspezifischen Ziele, auf die ich hinarbeite. Ich finde die Bewegung und damit verbundene Körperbeherrschung, die nötig ist, einfach faszinierend. Somit hat es mich sehr gereizt, zu spüren wie es ist, diese Übung selbst ausführen zu können. Was ist nötig, um den Körper darauf vorzubereiten? Welche Muskeln müssen trainiert, welche Mobilisiert werden und was benötigt mein Zentrales Nervensystem an Schulung, um die Balance über Kopf halten zu können? Damals war es die Körperformung, heute Körperbeherrschung, die mich fasziniert.
