It's in my bones, blood and being to help others, constantly grow and thrive personally and professionally, to never give up, to travel and explore, to be absolutely and unapologetically me, and to live in love!
Yesterday has marked exactly one month since I was injured at work. This job is a day program for developmental disabled adults. Every day is a challenge I love to problem solve, consider and understand. Learning about all things workers compensation and living in my new healing adventure has been a tough and interesting ride thus far!
I have extensive nerve damage to my left shoulder, arm and hand, the head trauma resulted in bilateral blood in the middle ear with neck and back pain. My team of doctors, physical therapist and chiropractor through workers comp has been amazing! I still have a lot of pain, numbness, burning and limited use of my left shoulder, arm and hand although learning to use, write and depend on my right arm has been challenging and fun since I'm left handed!
We absolutely must be an advocate for our own health, healing and wellbeing! Attitude, mindset, mood, lifestyle and thoughts plays a huge role and impact in our wellness journey. In life challenges patience, positivity, perspective, and perseverance will lead me to success!
