Living that Nourish Bowl Life 💚 I can’t stress this enough: Balanced Eating does not need to be fancy or complicated. If you fill your meals with a variety of produce (focusing on veggies & leafy greens), high quality protein, & healthy fats, you should feel energized & satiated. I also recommend that you try to drink at least 64 ounces of filtered water per day. Adding spices & seasonings to your meals adds flavor & dimension, because who wants boring food? Many spices also have nutritional benefits: turmeric is a potent anti inflammatory, especially when eaten with black pepper. Everyone is different (I’m a firm believer in bio-individuality), so you will need to experiment to find the foods that work best for you. Don’t feel pressure to follow trendy diets & fads. Trust your intuition & listen to your body’s signals. If this is a new process for you, give it time. If you’ve been in the habit of ignoring your body’s cues, you might need to “reset” the communication pathway. You can do this through mindful eating, going slow, & checking-in with yourself to see how certain foods make you feel. If you eat slowly, you will also give yourself more time to learn your “full signals”, and chewing more thoroughly improves digestion, so it’s a win-win. Sending you all lots of love 💚 In my bowl today 👇
