I always love trying new ingredients, and made amaranth porridge for the first time last week. Made this one with some hazelnut milk from @innocent (which is SO GOOD btw). It is a little more involved compared to overnight oats as it requires cooking on the stove - believe me, I tried the overnight oats method and it didn’t get soft enough! 🤣 Really like the nuttiness of it, and I will definitely make this again with different flavour combinations. Oh, the possibilities.

Si todavía no sabéis que desayunar mañana @letgaga79 nos da una versión de muffins saludables diferentes. Si os gusta el combo de dulce y salado estos son los vuestros👌🏻. . MUFFINS DE ARANDANOS 🍇 Y PARMIGIANO🧀. . 3 huevos. 1 clara. 50ml de aceite de coco. 100ml de leche de almendras. Edulcorante (opcional). 150gr de harina de espelta integral. 50gr de almendra molida. 100gr de arandanos. 25gr de queso pamigiano recién rallado. 10gr de levadura. . Juntar la harina, almendra, levadura y el queso en un bowl y reservar. Espumar los huevos y clara junto con el edulcorante (si los queréis salados suprimirlo). Añadir el aceite y la leche y remover otro poquito mas con las varillas. Ahora añadimos poco a poco la mezcla de ingredientes secos. Cuando tengamos la masa incorporar los arándanos y a los moldes. Rallar otro pelin mas de queso por encima y horno unos 15 minutos a 200 grados. . Eating healthy doesn’t mean be completely miserable and starve. I’m sorry it just doesn’t. There’s so many different “diets” out there. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ARE DIETS!!!!! Man I hate that word. When I invite people to my challenges many are like OH MAN IM NOT READY TO DIET. I can’t commit. I don’t have time. It’s almost like I asked them to carve out their eyeballs. NO ONE SAID DIET – I am saying Lifestyle. You are going to eat food every day – I don’t have time isn’t a good answer FYI. (Just saying) I am a firm believer in eating all food. Eating well balanced & moderation. I DO NOT BELIEVE in depriving yourself of anything. That includes the Recent Taboo of Carbs, that includes my insane amount of peanut butter I am capable of pounding, My ice cream, my Nutella and so on. If you told me in order to be and stay fit I had to completely eliminate things o enjoy. Well I would tell u to pound sand. It’s just not sustainable and people end up binging and blowing all their progress and sometimes quitting all together. With that said here are some of my tips to make the lifestyle change go smoother. 1. Plan ahead so you are not scrambling for something to eat. 2. Season your food. Salt; hot sauce; herbs – YOU DON’T HAVE TO SUFFER BLAND. 3. Switch it up don’t make 15 chicken breasts for all week because you will start clucking and you will hate chicken after a while. 4. Use supplementation. We cook out the nutrients of our food; soil is different; the world is different. Using supplementation is still considered “DOING IT NATURAL” 5. Get an accountability partner – That’s why I love coaching people! We are all in this together and when you know you have to check in with someone you are less likely to be a jerk about what you are eating. Message me for more details on my lifestyle programs!

This winter was all about trying to heal my digestive issues so I took a halt on all things cold, which did mean saying a temporary goodbye to my beloved smoothie bowls. The recent spontaneous warm days have given me the perfect excuse to blend one up. This gal is happy :) · · Golden Smoothie Bowl ☀️ 1/2 frozen banana 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower chunks 1/4 medium zucchini (peeled) 1 tbsp @_goldengrind_ turmeric smoothie blend 1 spoonful coconut yogurt 1/4 cup almond milk Blend in a high speed blender, add more liquid if needed. Top with fruits, nuts, coconut and granola. RECIPE: Cheese-Caramelized Onion Toast⠀ ⠀ Do you have a big appetite in the morning? Then this recipe is for you. What better way to start your day than with cheese, caramelized onions, spinach, and bacon? ⠀ Will you try this recipe? Let us know in the comments!⠀ ⠀ Prep time: 10 minutes⠀ Active time: 15 minutes⠀ Yield: 2 servings⠀ ⠀ Ingredients⠀ - 2 sliced of bread, toasted⠀ - 1 tbsp butter, divided⠀ - 1 onion, thinly sliced⠀ - 1 tbsp British Class Demerara Style Brown Sugar⠀ - 2 cups spinach, cleaned⠀ - 1 tsp Cool Runnings Caribbean Spice and Roasted Garlic⠀ - 2 tsp mayonnaise⠀ - 2 slices of cheese⠀ - 2 slices of bacon (optional), cooked⠀ - 8 cherry tomatoes, halved⠀ ⠀ Directions⠀ 1. Warm up a frying pan over medium-high heat and melt 1/2 tbsp of butter.⠀ 2. Add the onions and British Class Demerara Style Brown Sugar and stir a couple times until onions are brown, about 8 minutes. Reserve.⠀ 3. In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and add the spinach and Cool Runnings Caribbean Spice and Roasted Garlic. Stir until spinach wilts, about 2 minutes.⠀ 4. Assemble each toast with 1 tbsp of mayonnaise, one slice of cheese, one slice of bacon, half of the spinach and half of the caramelized onions. ⠀ 5. Top them with the cherry tomatoes and enjoy!
