QUALITY TIME: More important than all of the logistical wedding planning tips we could give is this one. Be sure to carve out quality time, just for the two of you on your wedding day. Everyone will tell you how quickly the day will fly by, and making sure to schedule 5-10 minutes throughout the day where you can take a big breath, look around you - truly look - and soak in what is happening, is crucial.
My favorite way to do this is a First Look, because starting your day actually together gives you that much more time to slow down all day long. I know not everyone wants to see each other before the ceremony, but the thing that makes this time so different than squeezing in 5 minutes alone afterward is that no one else is around. You don't feel guilty taking time for yourselves prior to the ceremony because your guests haven't arrived yet! ❤️ Kevin & I saw each other beforehand and I can promise you, the walk down the aisle was just as emotional and climatic as if we hadn't seen each other. I'm all about helping create days that are focused on actually remembering this once-in-a-lifetime experience, rather than rushing through. Cheers to with those we love.
