Seventh destination: Thailand.
To be more precise, my Asian journey started right here in Bangkok when I first landed on the 4th of May. Since then, I spent several weeks working from different amazing places in Thailand, Bangkok being a sort of a second home for me. The city surely intakes Di Caprio's 'The Island' characteristics: crazy and chaotic, with drunk tourists as a constant. But is so much more than that. BKK accommodates all sort of personality, lifestyles, and needs. It's a city where you can find everything you need at a tuktuk distance, and where 1 euro can buy you a great meal. Temples, religion, food, the kindness of its inhabitant, are just part of the whole picture.
Here above a few picture of the few touristic spots I managed to see, and a memory of the first nice ubbbriacatura with my favourite 2nd runner up @
Thanks a lot for showing me around, letting me try a tasty & crunchy scorpion, and obviously, for all the pizza places you showed me overtime when homesickness was hitting hard!
