I have learned to love the good and accept that there is ugly in this world. However, I will not watch the world turn over. Every single one of us has the power within ourselves to do good. People tend to lose touch with that, but, we must not give up on them.
This is my chance to be alive and I choose to love the world as if it were my last. 🐝
Happy Friday, here’s a Thrip doing a dance on a lilac petal. Thrips are a notorious plant pests that puncture cells and feed on the juicy insides. The discoloration near the bottom of the petal is the result of this feeding.
🦋Sorrow & Magic🔮 About a month ago I posted a photo of a beautiful Polyphemus moth that I found on another page. I have thought so many times how much I would love to see one in person. The size alone would be incredible. Well today while we were parking our car at a shopping center my husband yells out “Woah look at that huge moth” & I’m thinking no way is this really happening!? When I looked up I was enchanted by this huge beautiful moth swirling and dancing through the air...so enchanted I almost walked into oncoming traffic 😦 Anyways as we stand there mesmerized trying to get a better look a car comes creeping by and in that moment the rest happened so fast. The beautiful creature landed for just one second right under the cars tire and the driver ran it over. I screamed out horrified. I couldn’t believe that so much magic had just been snuffed out so quickly. The driver clutched her mouth also horrified and sped off. I ran over and scooped up the little creature as it died in my hands. I felt so much sadness but was truly amazed by its beauty. I brought him home with me and I plan to place him in a shadow box where I can admire the magic and beauty forever. I guess in a way I’m glad I was there.✨🔮🦋
