Good Morning! I am always up for a good challenge. But this race right here is a ONE & DONE. First off I never looked at the course map before running this race which is something I never do & I will never do THAT again. The hills were insane & started immediately. I posted the course map so you can understand. I went into this race w/ a flared knee and the hills sure did not help, but I pushed thru. This race is NOT FOR A NOVICE RUNNER. On the plus side the medal is awesome, the expo was good and the crowd support was great. I mean there was crowd support clean to the end. The crowd knew the hills were treacherous so in my head that’s why they had so many beer stops. I promise every other station had beer. I was tempted to drink thinking welp maybe if I drink til drunk I wont feel these hills until tomorrow needless to say I refrained. I am please w/ my medal. I stayed in walking distance from the start line. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and even a CVS for last minute do-dads. I was pleasantly surprised that every where we went to eat had a vegan option including Bubba Gumps 👀😜 anywho over all this race gets about ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me and probably should be ⭐️⭐️ based on the hills.

This may sound contradictory! However if you are looking to lose weight, you should be taking measurements around your chest, waist, hips, arms, legs and calves! Your weight can fluctuate up to 10 pounds in a day and even more throughout the week! This is due to water intake, how much water you are holding, hormones and a variety of other factors! However if your waistline is shrinking you are making PROGRESS! A lot of people go by just weight which is cool but there are a lot of factors that come into play! If you weigh yourself everyday and average it out, it may be a better indication of how much you really weigh! For the measurements, I'm pretty extreme, I started doing them everyday and noticed that they don't change that much until the 1 week or 2 week mark so you can do them every week to get an accurate measurement! If your waist is dropping inches but you are gaining weight it could be due to body recomposition which may mean there is a very slight period if you just started dieting/training or restarted training/dieting your body is building muscle and burning fat at the same time so that could explain the weight gain and the inches lost on your waist! Just keep a training and nutrition log and measure your progress and you'll be able to manage any fluctuations better! If you need any help, please let me know! I was heavy all my life, but when I met my husband 12 years ago, things took a turn for the worst. Topping the scale at 305 pounds, I hated the way I felt, and I hated how difficult everything was for me. But for some reason, I lacked the real determination it took. Fast forward to 5 years later, we got engaged, but I was determined to not be a “fat bride.”So I joined weight watchers, but I only lost 20 pounds for my wedding. Afterwards, my husband was sick of being heavy, too, and he started really losing some serious weight, and it took me a while to jump on, but I wanted to do it, too! But now it was so much easier because I only had to cook one meal for us instead of two, and there wasn’t the constant pressure to go out and eat poorly. *BUILD-A-TRICEP* Follow👉@gym.body.girls  for more fitness tips@skiman.factual.fitness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ First off let's give you some info on how the tricep is broken down, there's three parts to the tricep, hence "tri". There's the medial head, which is very small and lies beneath the long head), the larger portion of the horseshoe the long head and finally the lateral head, the other larger portion that wraps around the arm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So if you are incorporating a few push movements in your routine, especially the compounds, you are probably already included some tricep stimulation in the first place but if you want to focus on a certain part of the tricep then you can give these exercises a go. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some individuals have difficulty with getting the mind and muscle connection on perhaps the lagging part of their tricep, so if you have a lagging area try thinking of it as a leg extension to where if you turn inwards on the movement you are going to be more focused on the lateral tricep and if you turn your hands outward it's going to focus more on the medial tricep. The long head will be overhead movements of the tricep exercise. There is one other exercise that I did not include on here just because I don't favor and it's the skull crusher exercise, this is also more focused on the long head but several individuals have a tough time in the execution of the movement including myself so I no longer incorporate it due to elbow pains in the past. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hope that helps! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you made it this far please comment below "TRICEPS 👶" as it helps me to see that I'm making a difference in your fitness goals.
