It has a been a while since I have had anything from @cactuslandbrewing. Although relatively new, these folks are kicking butt in the beer game! Let's check out their Gose brewed with raspberries. I purchased this can from the brewery. •
Name: When the Sun Gose Down (Raspberry)
Brewery: Cactus Land Brewing Co., Adkins, Texas 🌵
Style: Gose 🇩🇪
Alcohol: 5.3% 📊
Poured at 48°F from a 16oz can (canned 20Jul18) into a Belgian tulip. Consumed on 20Jul18.
TASTE: A large explosion of sweet raspberry blended with a mild green apple tartness first hits the palate. Mild salt and subtle wheat flavors bring balance as the raspberry grows even stronger. Closes with wispers of mango, guava, and earthy hops.
NOTE: Aside from this being one of the best Goses I have ever tasted, I am at a near lost for words. Cactus Land created a magical elixir when they brewed this. They definitely pushed the boundary of how much raspberry could be packed into one beer. The saltiness and wheat were perfect in giving the desired backbone of a Gose. I hope to see this again sometime soon! 🍻
