Simple recipe that I adore!
•Others: iron, calcium, Vit A & C, and sodium
Ingrediants: •one Sweet potato (size is your choice)
•1 cup of mixed vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, broccoli/ or your choice)
•1/4 cup of veggies your choice(I choice carrots)
preheat your steamer over water. Put it up to high or around there.
After water is boiling at your sweet potato after cleaning and cutting it as you please(I leave it whole and cut the ends off and slice it a few times on top). Put it in there for around 45 minutes, but check it.
After 45, stick a fork into it. If it goes in smoothly it's cooked, if you have to force it in, cook longer.
Add your veggies and cook for additional 5. The broccoli with be soft, cauliflower will be semi, and carrots will be hard but hot.(I hate my carrots being soft.)
Then add seasoning you want and bon appetit!
