Caitlin strives to reconnect individuals to their true inner self through the practice of yoga by unifying the body, mind, and soul. She started practicing yoga about seven years ago, beginning solely for the physical aspect. Yoga found her while in a dark place in life, and soon after starting the practice it became more than just a body exercise. She started to feel into and explore the depths of yoga, diving into the deeper layers of consciousness that exist within. Over the past few years, she has incorporated meditation into her practice, which has expanded her mind even more. Through the power of breath, asana, meditation, mantras/vibrations, and an ongoing exploration inward she has found a healing for disconnection that she feels called to share.
Caitlin is a Certified Yoga Teacher, completing a 200 Hour Vinyasa YTT Program with Om Factory in NYC;100 Hour Yoga, Mind, & Spirit Training with The Nalanda Institute; Pause3 Empowerment Mentorship Program with Ssanyu Birigwa; Reiki 1 Attuned by Ssanyu; and is continuing her studies with Bee Bosnak in a mentorship training this fall (2018). Her teaching style is vinyasa flow focused, inclusive of meditation and pranayama. Caitlin believes in the healing power of vibrations and will often include this in her teaching. She also incorporates her educational knowledge in psychology and gems from throughout the yoga cannon. She has a curious nature about all that lies within the yoga cannon, passing along bits of knowledge that she has learned from her teachers to her students.
Caitlin’s desire as a yoga teacher is to hold a safe space for her students, where they can release and reconnect with themselves with love and trust.
