“Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid.”
The Harbour Bridge is an iconic landmark of Sydney, and it is said to be the largest steel arch bridge in the world. As a photographer not only was I fascinated by the amazing views around the harbour, but also the challenge and enormity of this engineering feat. The bridge took eight years to build using 53,000 tonnes of steel and six-million hand-driven rivets. If you listen to how these rivets were implemented and the lack of safety equipment during the time, you have to take your hats of to the bravery and toughness of those workers. Boy, and I thought I was brave when I went out in the dark to lock the garage.
