Getting back to my roots for the next six weeks by running 5/3/1: Building the Monolith. It is a program for strength and size, and I figure there is no better time than in the summer to go all out. I’ll be taking before and after pics to keep myself accountable and to see if my hard work paid off. Starting this tomorrow. Been tracking towards being full carnivore for quite awhile and now I'm back from my trip I'm excited to focus on this and getting my macros right. End of my 4th week with THE Carnivore Keto Cut Transformation. Starting weight 184 lbs and today weighed in at 177 lbs. Waist line began at 36 inches and today measured at 33 inches. Before the program I always felt conscious when wearing my Medium size gym clothes coz my stomach would just bulge out naturally, even when “sucking it in” 😂 now I feel confident. I am starting to see definition again in my muscles. . Best part of the program is how Incredible my energy is at the gym. I could workout for hours and still feel energetic through out the day. I think the caloric deficit has caught up with my powerlifting plans.... Low strength and or out of gas 425 x 3,3,2,2,1.9 (goal was 6x3) — I’ll drop to 405 for more reps on 6th set — not a terrible day - I certainly left nothing in the gym this week.

So after eating both my meals together I took in 230 grams of protein and 150 fat. 0 sugar 0 carb. So I've pretty much doubled my protein intake. Doing more of a carnivore woe has given me way more energy more strength and is changing my body composition. I've gotten leaner and added over 1/4" to my arms. The are 2 areas in our digestive tract that are utilized for digesting plants and vegetables, the stomach and the cecum. To be properly digested plants must be fermented in the cecum, a very small pouch located at the junction of the small and large intestine in humans. In herbivore animals this pouch is large and long to hold and digest a generous plant based diet. Even though we have a small cecum it is not able to fully ferment plants and vegetables leaving us with an evolutionary clue that humans are #carnivores Historically humans have evolved large brains which is primarliy made of fat. Simple 4 ingredient #carnivore plate of pork belly, no sugar rub bacon, pasture raised eggs, and shaved #steak. I have received a lot of messages asking for help and tips on how to get started on a #carnivorediet Thank you for sharing your experiences and results. I really enjoyed reading them all! I figured I would take the most asked questions and share my experience with a post. • • My diet has progressed over the past 4 years #paleo➡️ #Keto➡️ #carnivore with carnivore giving me the most nutrition and athletic #gains Currently I primarily eat #steakandeggs • • For meats, I opted for a variety steak, beef, pork, lamb, wild salmon, no sugar rubbed bacon and ate to satiety. I have never really been a tracker. I also enjoy #pastureraised @vitalfarms #eggs. The key is to read meat labels. Many meats are loaded in sugar and oils such as soybean. I opt for wild, pasture raised and grass fed/finished. The extra cost is worth the quality in my opinion and where I eat less food it evens out in the long term. • • For #fats I originally used oils. Now I opt for cooking in animal fats: duck fat found @wholefoods , butter, ghee, and bacon fat. I often dice up pork belly and collect the fat to cook in. • • I also drink #bonebroth and have 1 #coffee either black or whip in blender with butter. For hydration I drink a gallon of water a day. It is truly very simple and perfect for my #minimalist lifestyle. I hope this post adds value for all that inquired about how I eat.

Sooooo glad I switched to carnivore. Blows keto out of the water in my opinion. Eating way more, getting leaner I feel stronger ton of energy. Body composition is changing quickly. Taking in 1-1.5 grams of protein and I'm still in ketosis. I've upped my sodium and electrolytes even more. Way better pumps, just shows u don't need carbs to get a pump. God if I wasn't in so much pain all the time my training would be off the wall. Great write up! "Sorry, long write up here, but excited to share my story with everyone that was here from the beginning or anyone new to the group. I had been doing lazy keto for a couple years and not really tracking anything and just thought if I wasnt eating carbs, then I was being keto. I did okay dropping from 230 lbs from the beginning of 2017 to 210 lbs that same summer. I plateaued for A LONG TIME at around 205 until about four weeks ago. That's when I saw Danny Vega announce this workout plan. It was called "Carnivore Keto Cut" and I figure why not?! Danny already influenced my purchase of a @concept2inc rower...haha. And here I am now, 12 lbs lighter and down about 5% bodyfat!! All from eating all animal based food and eliminating everything plant based! The before picture from above is from May 29th and the after is from June 24th, 27 days! I could not be more happy with the results. My inflammation is gone from running and playing basketball and I no need to take ibuprofen after long sessions and I have had to buy a bunch of new clothes for the summer as all my shorts are now falling down my legs! I am going to continue doing carnivore keto in hopes of achieving sub 15% bodyfat by Labor Day and having abs for the first time ever in my life(I'm in my 40s). This is my new favorite thing!! @carrvalley Bread cheese or leipäjuusto, basically it's cheese that holds together when you heat it. After I cooked my steak I put it on the skillet and it ended up like a grilled cheese, no bread needed (hence the name)! #transformationtuesday #ketotransformations around 150lb diffrence. It dosen't matter what's going on in your life if you want change you make it happen. Now with my syatic nerve being crushed the pain will make you wanna puke but I fight through it. One thing I can promise to myself is no matter what I will never let myself go like that again. There is absolutely no excuse that you can't lose weight. Walk in my shoes daily, (just make sure u bring crutches) and ill see anything is possible. I've had so much to overcome. This past winter my depression hit an all time low, sadly in February I gave in and tried to take my life, doctors told me it was an absolute miracle I survived. I've definitely got dealt a really shitty hand in life and again its gotten even worse in the last few weeks. The man upstairs I guess loves to torture me but if he won't let me go then game on mofo. Just know there are always others fighting and your not alone. I get up every morning with pain so bad it'll make u puke. I cant even bend over the sink to brush my teeth. Luckily my bed is up high so I can hold on and put one leg at a time in my shorts. I dream of the days of when I could just get out of bed and live a normal life, but those days are long over so I just do what I can. Honestly the only thing I enjoy in life is helping you guys with your goals. I know what it's like to feel hopeless and lost and that things will never change. It's why I always stress too you guys that if you need help or just talk I'm here. Alot off these trainers and nutritionists have never been over weight they haven't experienced what it's like to walk in a room and all eyes are on you and people think your just lazy and eat to much, they've never dealt with depression, anxiety or eating disorders. I have and I still do and it sucks living like that. Monday squat goal was 78% with 5 second eccentric — I barely made 4 sec on first reps and 3 sec on the second rep... “Houston: we have found the weak spot!” I remain at a significant caloric deficit despite adding back a a few calories each week — now I’m in week 7 of the #carnivoreketocut lead by @theketoavengers - I had my lowest weigh-in this weekend: down 13 pounds the past 7 weeks (ironically the day after an extra 500 calorie refeed day!). #carnivore keeps getting easier and feels more natural as I reverse diet/add dietary fat back Despite being in the beginning on a new phase of training - the slow eccentrics are kicking my ass 💯

I had been doing lazy keto for a couple years and not really tracking anything and just thought if I wasnt eating carbs, then I was being keto. I did okay dropping from 230 lbs from the beginning of 2017 to 210 lbs that same summer. I plateaued for A LONG TIME at around 205 until about four weeks ago. That's when I saw Danny Vega announce this workout plan. It was called "Carnivore Keto Cut" and I figure why not?! Danny already influenced my purchase of a @concept2inc rower...haha. And here I am now, 12 lbs lighter and down about 5% bodyfat!! All from eating all animal based food and eliminating everything plant based! The before picture from above is from May 29th and the after is from June 24th, 27 days! I could not be more happy with the results. My inflammation is gone from running and playing basketball and I no need to take ibuprofen after long sessions and I have had to buy a bunch of new clothes for the summer as all my shorts are now falling down my legs! I am going to continue doing carnivore keto in hopes of achieving sub 15% bodyfat by Labor Day and having abs for the first time ever in my life(I'm in my 40s). Broke fast with this egg cup. I got the recipe from @my_keto_journal but left out the Lupin flour since I’m doing carnivore. I added Jimmy Dean turkey sausage. Sooo good! Exact recipe with Lupin flour can be found on her IG. I didn’t use muffin pans, I used ramekins. 😋 I used 70 grams of shredded white cheddar and 2 tablespoons of grated parm cheese. Added salt and mixed. When burgers are life 😍😍😍 We made some burgers using chopped bacon from @pedersonsfarms , grassfed ground beef from @crowdcow (link in my bio) and shredded cheese. Cooked them on the grill with some Halloumi cheese...amazing! #nourishmygut
