As little girls, we are taught about what “beautiful” is. It’s perfection whether it be perfect hair, perfect bodies, or perfect skin. Whatever we see on a magazine is “beautiful”. Personally, I always thought curvy was more appealing to me on other women. However, when I gained my own curves I felt like they were ugly because society teaches us that skinny is beautiful. That is absolute b***s***. A woman is beautiful no matter what she looks like. Size, color, body scars, all of those don’t matter. (It took me a little while to grasp this about my own body)
•Your body is your home, and all that matters is that your healthy and alive. Beauty is just a silly term. It’s more about what’s in your heart.
So I now gladly embrace my curves. To every scar and every imperfection, I am beautiful in my own little ways. •PS: It was super hot today, and this shower felt ABSOLUTELY amazing. I love being able to take a shower anywhere with my homemade shower contraption. Vanlife is truly amazing because I get to take my daily shower in a forest. Now I’m off to eat some sushi 🍣
