Traveling with a pre-schooler and a baby boomer certainly changed the typical pace of my travels. This was one of my favorite trips—- just the girls in my family. Baby girl became “one of the girls” with new inside jokes that she was privy to first hand. She got to see how me, my mom, and my sister act when we all get together for the first time. •
Some are weary of traveling with kids. Don’t let youth alone detour you. Kids are resilient. They can be low maintenance traveler. Just keep snacks & water in her #backpack 🎒, be sure to take enough bathroom breaks, and we’re set. Plus watching their little minds absorb everything around them like a sponge makes a priceless memory for you, even if they don’t remember it later (and you’ll be surprised what they do remember). This had so much potential to be a better picture. With just a shift to the right and a squat we could’ve gotten more of me (squatting while photographing BabyBelle) & the tower. But alas, moms sometimes have other plans. Even if the photos don’t show it, this trip made awesome memories.
