Here's a little personal story behind selling online handmade products—
Sometimes I get to work with rad people, and I don't even know it. That's the reality of doing business online. Emails are exchanged, questions asked about my technique, how much, how long, more specificities, etc. Sometimes there's a first name, most of the time my name is "Hi there". And then once I poured hours into "making of the stuff", get myself inflamed muscles because of the intensity of it all, I usually have to rush ship; because deadlines are always tight on volume orders for a small maker.
Then, if I have time, I s̶t̶a̶l̶k̶ google the name, or I get tagged on IG, and boom! Rad client, creative business, unique designer.😳
Truth is, there's something fantastic, odd, satisfying, and scary all at once about this whole process.
Maybe it's just me? 🤷🏻♀️
