Core strength๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ I have been trying the hanging leg raises since sometime and still struggling to master it. โœ… Need to focus on tucking the belly button in and squeeze it towards the spine โœ…. Arms need to be strong too. But I am getting better with time.๐Ÿ˜ Practice practice!!๐Ÿ’ช It is very important to have strong core muscles in order to attain stability and strength. Its the most vital muscle to perform any kind of exercise. If you are trying your hands on something new or making a progress : 1. Do not bother about the no. Of reps or sets. 2. Focus on right posture. Its important to practice the techniques in a rightway first. 3. Always give 5 to 10 mins of your workout time to the challenge you have accepted. 4. Keep a track and note of your progress and I am sure you shall be there. Remember my previous post about missing my 6am class and ending up working out at the beach? Well this is what I did! I โค๏ธ abs because they fix my posture. Also, when my core is strong I feel a big difference of how my body moves, etc ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ (Btw, music by Chambao, one of my favorite Spanish flamenco bands ๐Ÿ”ฅ) @chambao_oficial . . Things to remember: While doing ab work outs never hold your breath (you want to inhale on the easiest part of the move, and exhale on the hardest part) ๐ŸŒฌ IF you are not feeling the burn on your abs, touch them! This helps the brain and body know which muscle they ought to be using (I know right, the brain is amazing! ๐Ÿง ) **thank you acetylcholine neurotransmitters ๐Ÿค“. Moving on, itโ€™s quality over quantity. If you can do 3-4 solid, amazing crunches, do that! Donโ€™t force yourself to do more if you canโ€™t. You start becoming sloppy and you stop using the right muscles ๐Ÿ™ƒ Best for last... tweak your diet. We ALL have abs! But itโ€™s the fat layer around our waist that hides them (Oh Fat, you bastard! ๐Ÿคฌ) Cardio, AND a healthy/healthiER diet are key, seriously. Lots of protein, veggies and liquids! ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅฆ . . Tip: Donโ€™t get too caught up on the amount of abdominal exercises, focus your time on getting your diet right first.
