Everyone knows that exercise helps the body but Exercise also helps with depression, anxiety, stress, ADD, ADHD. Studies have actually proven that daily exercise can reduce mental illness as effectively as anti depressant medication without the side effects. .
It gives people an enormous sense of well-being. It makes you feel more energetic throughout the day, sleep better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more relaxed and positive about yourself and your life. .
Winter is Hard!!!
❄️ I find summer, spring even a bit of fall to be a lot less challenging on my mental state. It’s so much easier for me to stay happy, to be a light in everyone’s life and to just see the good in every day!
☀️ But when the seasons die, it’s cold as ice and the days are short and mostly dark I find it extremely difficult to keep the fire burning!
In years past I’ve used things like alcohol or food to ease my mental illness but of course it only made things worse, those things dug deeper, darker holes and made it so hard to find my way back to the light. .
Winter is still hard, I think I’m meant to live in hotter locations, aren’t we all?
But what I’m so thankful for now is healthy solutions for my mental stability. 💖
