When I'm taking your photograph, I'm telling you to do all sorts of things, "look at each other, look back at the camera, kiss!" It's all a formula for distraction and THIS is the type of moment that I'm searching to find. It's the space between the posing cues I'm calling out; it's the split second where you forget that I'm there with this obtrusive, three pound camera pointed at your faces. It's within this instant that the magic happens. This is where the image transcends it's basic purpose, becomes truly authentic and honestly reveals something genuine between two humans. Thank you to Laura and Andrew for having me share in their joyful and gentle love for each other.
