Homo Faber is a wonderful expo on craftsmanship held in #Venice until the end of the month. This weekend we had the chance to visit it and we were mesmerized by the beauty of the art, the talent of the people and the enchanting location ! • Where •
The expo is held on the San Giorgio island. Just in front of Piazza San Marco (across the Canal della Giudecca)
• What to see •
The expo is huge and it is all worth a visit. However my favorite part was definitely the area number 13. That is where you could see the artisans at work and discuss with them about their art and passion. I also liked very much the area 11 both because it focused on fashion but also because of the amazing display! - no spoilers (yet)
• In the picture•
@ecolelesage is THE french embroidery specialist and they participate to Homo Faber. In the area 13 you will be able to learn more about them and participate to the creation of an embroidered map of #Venezia 😍
• How to get there •
Free shuttle boats take you to #SanGiorgio from #SanMarco. Otherwise just take the boatbus n.2 and stop at San Giorgio
The entrance to the expo is FREE. You just need to download your ticket online or just make it when arriving on the island.
• The book •
A book of the expo is available at only 5 euros. There are also some very interesting books displayed at the bookstore on the island (there are two bookstores).
Thank you to the organizers, the brands and the artisans who participate to this event for their fantastic experience.
So if you can, just go. You still have time until the end of the week to visit 😍 ❤️@michelangelofoundation ❤️ #homofaber
