Keeping up with healthy food choices while on vacation was hard! Decadent desserts, drinks, rich meals.... The good thing is I've been using FatFighter to block and get rid of 1/3 of the carbs in each meal. I love it!! Returned home the same size as when I left. 👍🏽😉

DO YOUR CRAVINGS CONTROL YOU? 🍩🍫🍪🍭🍦 I want to share something with you... • I used to eat Oreos WHILE I was making dinner. • And I couldn't NOT do it. Talk about #shame 🙄 • I felt like I had absolutely zero control even if I told myself "not today", "today is going to be different" - inevitably I would get a sugar craving and all ambitions would come crashing down. • Since I've been thin my whole life, most people don't think I can relate because thin = healthy, right? Biggest load of crap EVER. 💩💩💩 My cravings were so strong that I couldn't go a day without a major sugar binge. And then I would beat myself up because my willpower had failed me. • Can you relate? • Let's shed some light on a few things you need to know about cravings: 1. Cravings are both emotional and physical so muscling your way out with willpower won't work every time. You have to change your makeup at a cellular level through nutritional therapy to be able to fully get yourself out of the hamster wheel cycle. 2. Stress can cause your cravings to go haywire. Holistically approach your cravings by reducing stress through acts of self-care, meditation, and prioritizing what's important to you. 3. Generally speaking, cravings are a clue that your body is nutritional deprived. Check in with yourself. Are you eating the proper amount of macronutrients? Because if your not, your body will lack energy and what's the first thing we do when we need energy? You all know I love my pink drink, but let me be honest. Life happens and bills must be paid and it’s been a minute since I’ve had my blood-sugar-balancing, cravings-crusher, weight-managing, plant-based, natural energy drink. Should you be snacking 🤔? • This was one of the questions @amandamontalvord and I addressed in last night’s Q&A session, and it’s a fairly common one! • We hear we should eat smaller, more frequent meals to support our metabolism. Then we hear that we should be intermittent fasting and eating less often. Conflicting information can be so confusing! • Whether you need to have a snack or not comes down to many factors. If you’re very active or have long gaps (i.e. 6+ hours) between meals, a snack may be helpful. If you are hungry shortly after a meal, you may need to eat a bit more or adjust your food ratios. If you’re constantly craving sweets or carbs, you may need to work on balancing your blood sugar. And if you find yourself mindlessly grazing on food throughout the day, you might want to tap into why. • Overall, like most other things discussed here , it’s about getting in tune to what YOUR body needs and never feeling pressure or shame regarding your food choices. If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re not, don’t. Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen candy selling for 10 cents each! Recalling the childhood memories, and found one of my fav 🍬 Sugar straws! 😋 But this one is sour flavour! 😱 Party city is not the place for the soft-hearted, especially not children! I almost went crazy in that store! My initial purpose was shopping for my children, not the other way around 😥 Since I am trying not to OD on "unhealthy" sugar, and I finally got the time to make something.
