Amber Waves and Easter Blue ~ just finished tonight, this bracelet has been three years in the making, waiting for me to find this gorgeous, vintage, rough amber, sourced for me through a colleague in the industry from an estate sale in Lithuania. It’s been tested and verified and I’m crazy about it. I LOVE the lush earthen, rustic textures in this bracelet!! I paired it with beautiful tiny and perfect 6mm Easter Blue turquoise roundels. These are from a new source and I’m happily surprised and pleased by their quality, given that the rough was used to produce beads instead of cabs. It was clearly not sizable enough to be cabbing material but they are quite gorgeous little roundels. The elongated sterling silver oxidized beads and the clasp are a couple of my trademark, handmade pieces. The smaller accent amber strands are tiny rough Baltic interspersed with chatoyant ironstone.
