It is good to see how lots of planning can make for beautiful details. It is hard to describe how much work it is to get all of the details right (siding reveal, door interaction with decking and floor inside, etc.). The hope is that when the design and construction is complete, that nothing stands out, but it all looks effortlessly simple and “right.” Effortless does not accurately describe good design or execution. In fact, there is a ton of effort.
After all of the hard work we get to see the finished product, and that is what I love about building quality things!
