⚠ HELP ⚠
We moved 2.5 week ago, and before this we have never had any issues with leaving Magnus alone at home. Sure, the occasional bark and howl once in a month or two, but that's it.
Now, in our new house, he barks and howls non stop when left alone.
We had him locked up in his 'room' at our last place, and it worked fine but when we moved, we let him be out with access to the ground floor (living room, dining area & kitchen).
Resulted in barking, destroyed sunscreen and destroyed mosquitonet.
Decided to try to use the laundry as a new 'room' for him. Same as in the old place.
But it doesn't make any difference.
We filmed him one day after our neighbors told us that he obviosly don't like being left alone, to see how bad it actually was..
In 3 hours, he was quiet for maybe 10 minutes. Constant barking and occasionally chewing the gate.
We have tried with calm drops.
Ultrasonic bark collar.
Advil plugged in the wall.
.. Some days he seems to be OK, other days he starts a few minutes after we leave home. Sometimes he's whining for ages before start barking, and sometimes he just barks.
Yes, he's well exercised before we leave. No, he don't care for toys that's left with him.
Any suggestions on how to make him stop?
All we want is for him to relax when we're not at home..
