I have learned that the mornings are key for shaping the entire day and I learned how important it was to let go of yesterday and the future and become entirely present even in the morning. Many of us tend to pick up our phones the first thing in morning, not knowing that this triggers a lot of energy within us that can link to stress, negative programming or general anxiety especially if we start our day by going through work emails or negative news online. We also tend to start thinking about everything we have to do during the day or on what has happened the day before.
Instead of getting connected to the online world first thing in the morning, connect to your inner world and set the intentions that pave the way for that particular day. I used to wake up and stress and obsess about everything I needed to get done during the day and not even take the time to enjoy my mornings, but now everything has changed thanks to having a morning routine. As I wake up, I dont go online, I usually start my day by getting out and doing some morning yoga and meditation, listening to positive and uplifting podcasts or astrology while taking walk. I am always focusing on what I am grateful for and setting my intentions for the day. And then I have breakfast. This way I am not only getting up to go to work, but I am working on my health and spiritual growth each morning.
Other things you can start doing are: - As you wake up, before getting up, state 3 things you are grateful for and 3 things you wish to manifest during the day. - Do or listen to positive affirmation
- Send loving thoughts/ messages to people you love
