So many people complain about not having enough time to exercise. But for most people, time isn’t the issue. The real problem is that they hate exercising, so they don’t make it a priority. So how can we fix that?
1. Try different activities. There are more options than ever before so if you don’t like lifting weights or running, try sports, kickboxing or dancing. Assuming that there’s only one way to get fit may limit you from finding something you truly enjoy.
2. Make it part of your routine. Pick a time that you know works for your schedule and go. Consistency is critical if you want to make a habit stick.
3. Get a workout buddy. Having someone to socialize with makes exercising fun. Bonus - they’ll keep you accountable.
4. Set fitness goals. Not weight loss goals, but performance goals. Try to beat your past records in 1 mile run, unbroken pull-ups or weight lifted. Fitness goals keep you striving to always get better!
